Reinaldo and Gabriela Alvarez started Cafe Colombia in March of 1999 to serve the Colombian community of Southern California.
The authenticity and flavor of its dishes has made Cafe Colombia the premier Colombian restaurant in the area.
In addition to their large Colombian clientel, patrons now include many Californian Latin food lovers as well as people from many countries who are looking for "Nuevo Latino" exciting foods.
Created by owner Gabriela Alvarez, Cafe Colombia's menu emphasizes traditional recipes to invite Colombians nostalgic for home-cooking and also experiments with Nuevo Latino fusions to entice Californian Latin food lovers.
